Turkish president may cancel visit to Russia - administration
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may cancel the planned visit to Russia, the presidential administration of Turkey told on Nov.24.
The administration said that this issue is still under discussion.

The administration also said that the Turkish president`s visit was scheduled for December 15.

Earlier it was reported that the Turkish president was to visit Russia December 15, 2015. This decision was made following the G20 summit, which was held in the Turkish province of Antalya.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov canceled his visit to Turkey, which was scheduled for November 25.

The Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian military plane SU-24 in its airspace Nov. 24. Both pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on the territory of Syria.

The world should know that Turkey is able to protect its borders, the country’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said while commenting on destruction of the Russian military aircraft.

Davutoglu reminded that Turkey has repeatedly said that no country is entitled to violate the airspace of the country. He said that the countries must help resolve the crisis instead of aggravating the crisis in Syria.
