The FM said there were good opportunities for developing the bilateral economic cooperation, including in the fields of tourism and energy, AzerTag reports.
Mr. Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan praised Egypt`s supporting its territorial integrity as well as settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on UN Security Council resolutions.
The minister also said his country lauded resolutions by the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemning Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan and urging official Yerevan to withdraw its armed forces from Azerbaijan`s occupied lands.
Mr. Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan was supporting international efforts to combat terrorism, saying cooperation with Egypt on this front could be fruitful.
The FM highlighted Azerbaijan`s humanitarian assistance to other countries. He said the country was contributing to ensuring sustainable development and stability in the Middle East, Africa and Asia through Azerbaijan International Development Agency.
