Another march against constitutional amendments takes place in Armenia
The participants of the "New Armenia" Public Salvation Front march against constitutional amendments have reached the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) building in Yerevan, the Armenian News agency reported.
They are demanding that the CEC cancel the constitutional amendments, as well as the resignation of President Serzh Sargsyan and CEC President Tigran Mukuchyan.

The building has been completely surrounded by several rows of policemen with shields, according to the agency.

The march of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front fighting against the constitutional amendments was controlled by a large number of police forces Dec.3. The march ended in Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

The referendum on constitutional amendments will take place on December 6. Pursuant to the new draft Constitution, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance.
