World Economic Forum takes off in Baku

Baku is hosting the World Economic Forum "SHAPE CIS, Central Asia and Caucasus: Vision 2020".

The forum is attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The event will mainly focus on issues of industry, natural wealth, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finances, telecommunications and so on.

The world economic forum held in Baku will be an important platform for regional and global players to assess the main challenges and opportunities associated with the future of the region, contribute to the development of cooperation in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
