2 Turkish soldiers wounded in armed attack in Istanbul
Two Turkish soldiers were slightly wounded when a military vehicle came under attack in Istanbul`s central district of Kagithane, Anadolu reported.
An unidentified number of assailants fired at the vehicle from an overpass as a gendarmerie vehicle was driving through the Nurtepe Viaduct.

A non-commissioned officer suffered injuries to the back, the shoulder and behind the ear from the broken glass and ricocheting pieces of bullets that hit the vehicle, while another officer was wounded in the knee, they said.

Both were taken to Okmeydani Hospital and are to be transferred to a military hospital, they added.

The police have launched an investigation to find the assailants who fled the scene.
