The ambassador noted that the cargos will be delivered to Turkey within 7 days without taking to the ports: “By implementing this project, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will play a role of bridge between Europe and Asia. Goods train coming from China will bring Korean products once a week till March and cargo will be carried twice a week after March. We’ll have opportunity to trade more after completion of BTK. This is a step which will change geopolitical and geoeconomic view”.

The diplomat added that implementation of BTK delays: “Unfortunately, there was a legal problem between construction companies and the construction works delayed 6-4 months. But the problem was solved and the works are underway. Now, the new government decided to complete this project soon. I’m sure that the project wil be completed by the end of 2016”.
