All 28 EU members agree on need to extend Russian sanctions for 6 months
According to a high-ranked EU official, all 28 European Union member states agree on the need to extend economic sanctions against Russia for another 6 months.
All 28 European Union member states agree on the need to extend economic sanctions against Russia for another six months, a high-ranked EU official said Wednesday.

“I don’t expect any discussion. Why do I say this, though I may not be correct, is because I’m basing this on negotiations between the representatives,” the source, wishing to remain anonymous, told RIA Novosti.

“All 28 countries are convinced that the March agreements that set a clear connection between the full implementation of the Minsk agreements and the extension of sanctions still apply.

This means that all 28 leaders support the idea of extending sanctions for the next six months,” the source said.
