8 people killed in migrant bus crash in Turkey

8 people killed in migrant bus crash in Turkey

A bus carrying illegal immigrants crashed in Turkey`s province of Balikesir, the Turkish newspaper Haber7 reported Jan. 9.

Reportedly, the bus was carrying illegal Syrian immigrants. The report said 8 people were killed and 42 got injured as a result of the crash.

The injured were taken to the nearest hospitals.

More than 20 people were killed and about 100 people were injured as a result of the accidents in Turkey over the past days.
