Iran to build gas pipeline to Europe
The country needs to increase its share through the use of modern technologies. Iran does not exclude the possibility of building a gas pipeline to Europe, the Director of International Relations of the National Iranian Gas Company Azizola Ramezani told.
If the trend of continuous oil price decline is preserved, the export of gas to Europe will be quite profitable, Ramezani said.

He also believes that, taking into account the fact that Iran has the world`s largest natural gas reserves, the country must increase its share through the use of modern technology.

"Although Iran has gas reserves of 34 tcm, the production capacity is 200 billion cubic meters a year," IRNA quotes Ramazani`s words.

Earlier, he said he hopes to continue cooperation with "Gazprom" on the basis of the previously signed memorandum with Iran after the removal of international sanctions.

"NIGC is cooperating with "Gazprom" in a number of directions. We will cooperate with "Gazprom" in the future on the basis of a memorandum in four directions," the director of the Iranian company said.
