Iraq repatriates remains of 93 Iranian soldiers
Iraq repatriates the remains of 93 Iranian soldiers killed during the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988).
The handover ceremony took place at the border crossing point of Shalamcha under the decision of the Iraqi authorities, AzVision.az reports citing TASS.

Most of these soldiers were killed in the Fao Peninsula and Majnun Island in 1988. The coffins were taken to the Iranian city of Ahvaz.
