27 swine flu cases recorded in Georgia
27 cases of swine flu (H1N1) have been recorded in Georgia since December 2015, Paata Imnadze, director of the Georgian National Disease Control Center, told journalists Jan.12.
The director said measures are underway to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the country.

“Citizens began to be vaccinated. To date, as many as 12,000 citizens have been vaccinated thanks to the support of the state and 8,000 more citizens have been vaccinated in private hospitals. This process will continue till the end of February,” he said.

Imnadze said that no death from swine flu has been recorded in Georgia. “No cases of swine flu have been detected in regions densely populated by Azerbaijanis.”
