More than 80 flights canceled at Moscow
More than 80 flights have been canceled at Moscow
As follows from information available on the Yandex search engine’s schedule portal at 17:45 Moscow time, more than 80 flights are delayed or canceled.

Vnukovo airport has canceled six flights, Domodedovo delayed 17 flights and canceled 12, and Sheremetievo canceled 61 flights and delayed 20. Earlier, Russia’s major air carrier Aeroflot canceled 14 flights from Sheremetievo due to an unfavorable weather forecast.

Moscow’s weather worsened sharply after 15:00 local time. Wind measures 12 meters per second, with air temperatures at 12 degrees below freezing. Fifteen thousand snowplows and trucks are removing snow from Moscow streets.
