Chairpersons of Lankaran branches of APFP and Musavat Party jailed

Chairpersons of Lankaran branches of APFP and Musavat Party jailed

A preventive measure in the form of administrative arrest has been chosen against Nazim Hasanli and Imanverdi Aliyev, chairpersons of Lankaran branches of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party and Musavat Party, respectively.

Both persons were sentenced to 30-day administrative arrest facing charges under article #298.2 (participating in meetings, demonstrations, street processions and pickets not organized in a manner prescribed by law) of the Code of Administrative Offences, the Lankaran District Court told. (APA)
