Turkey not to apply visa regime for Iran
Head of the Iran-Turkey Joint Trade Council Reza Kami has refuted recent reports that Turkey is preparing to apply the visa regime for Iranian citizens, AzVision.az reports.
No change has been made in the current regime between the two countries and Iranian citizens can enter Turkey without a visa, he said.

The Turkish side has not made any official request so far regarding the application of the visa regime. With regard to Turkey-Iran relations, Reza Kami said relations between the two countries are based on historical roots and there is no escalation at the moment.

Note, Turkish media has released information that Turkey will apply the visa regime for 89 countries including Iran in June 2016.
