Russia`s Novosibirsk power plant says staff evacuated after bomb call
Russia`s Novosibirsk hydro electric power station said on Friday it had evacuated 231 workers after a phone call about an explosive device at the station.
Olesya Tarasova, the spokeswoman for the station owned by Rushydro, said the station was working as usual, although sniffer dogs were searching for the device.

"The Emergencies Ministry alerted us about the phone call at 0858 (9.58 a.m. EDT). Our specialists have not found anything at the station`s facilities," she told Reuters by telephone.

Novosibirsk is located in western Siberia around 3,000 kilometers (1,900 miles) east of Moscow.
