Relations between Armenian president and vice-president become strained
Relations between Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan became strained as contradictions emerged during the talks on the formation of the next ruling coalition, the Armenian newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak reported.
According to the newspaper, Sargsyan is intending to entrust the Dashnaksutyun party with the formation of the Justice Ministry and appoint party member Artsvik Minasyan as justice minister. However, Abramyan is insisting on incumbent Justice Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan’s continuing his duty and trying to appoint Minasyan as a governor of one of the regions.

Minasyan, in turn, says he doesn’t see himself as governor.
