Bulgarian parliament votes against `South Stream`
Bulgarian MPs were unable to revive the gas project `South Stream` with their votes. 27 deputies voted for the resumption of project, 65 abstained and 16 voted against.
It is worth noting that on January 20th 2016 Gazprom announced the termination of the agreement on the gas pipeline project `South Stream`. The Russian Energy Ministry also confirmed the information that Moscow will not renew this gas project, RIA Novosti reported.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boyko Borisov, has expressed the idea that instead of `South Stream`, `Bulgarian Stream` could be implemented. However Gazprom has not provided any information about a new gas project with Bulgaria.
