Russia and Iran start simplified visa regime
The Russia-Iran agreement on simplified visa requirements has entered into force on Saturday, Russian media reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
The document envisions a simplified procedure for issuing Russian and Iranian visas for the representatives of business circles, participants in scientific, cultural and creative activities, students and lecturers, and tourists of the two countries.

In addition, Ali Akbar Velayati, the advisor on international affairs to the Supreme Leader of Iran, informed that Tehran is considering lifting the tourist visas for Russian citizens.
