The gunmen were hurling Molotov cocktails at the newspapers` offices, and then opened fire at the buildings, the Hurri?et daily reported.
The attack on the Yeni Safak editorial office took place at about 5 a.m. local time [03:00 GMT], half an hour later Yeni Akit was subjected to a similar assault. No injuries were reported.
