Turkey arrests 16 suspected Daesh members, including 12 foreigners
Turkish authorities have arrested 16 people, including 12 foreigners, on suspicion of links to Daesh extremist group, local media reported, citing sources in security services.
According to the DHA news agency, the arrested individuals were trying to cross into Syria when they were detained by the authorities.

There was no information provided considering the nationalities of the foreign suspects.

Daesh jihadist group is considered to be one of the main threats to the global security. In the past three years, the militants have managed to capture large swathes of land in Syria and Iraq. The group has also been spreading its influence in the neighboring North African countries, such as Libya.

Daesh is outlawed by Russia and many other countries.
