The current situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can not last for a long time, newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia Jean-François Charpentier told reporters, AzVision.az reports quoting panorama.am.
“We want Armenia and Azerbaijan to find a mutually acceptable solution as soon as possible, which will comply with the wishes of the peoples of conflicting countries,” said Mr Charpentier. The envoy noted that this is not his position, but the position of his country. Being committed to this approach, the French president organized an Armenian-Azerbaijani presidential meeting in Paris.
