10 kilos 800 grams of drugs was seized during the operations.
As a result of preventive measures conducted on November 17, 5 kg of opium and 5.8 kg of marijuana that were smuggled to Azerbaijan through the frontier post in Deleli village of Jalilabad region were withdrawn from circulation.

As a result of the joint operations conducted by the State Border Service (SBS) and Interior Ministry, smuggling of a large amount of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented, SBS told.
