Armenia portraying military losses from April 2-5 clashes as new victims
The Armenian government is portraying military casualties from the clashes of April 2 to 5 as new victims.
While Armenia has been daily reporting new military deaths on the front line since the ceasefire between the two sides was renewed, APA has learned from a variety of sources in the Armenian media as well as on social network that the latest Armenian losses are of those that resulted from the fighting which continued from April 2 to 5.

It is very likely that Armenian authorities have decided to announce the heavy military casualties suffered in the fierce fighting separately for fear of public anger.

The other possible reason is that the Armenian side is trying to make it look as if Azerbaijani side, despite the renewed ceasefire, is disrespecting the truce and killing Armenians soldiers. This way they hope to draw international blame on Azerbaijan.
