Russia`s President Vladimir Putin and his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh by phone, said a statement issued by Kremlin.
President Putin informed President Nazarbayev about the mediation measures taken by the Russian side, said the statement.
