The floating dock can be applied for launching different types of vessels less than 2000 tons in weight, Dehghan said at the event.
Having a mobile maintenance and overhaul infrastructure in Caspian Sea and preparing technical support for navy as well as oil and gas projects are among the purposes of launching the dock, he added.
Floating docks are used for the construction, maintenance, and repair of ships, boats, and other water crafts.
