British FTSE 100 dropped 0.09% to 6,723.42, France’s CAC 40 soared 0.20% to 4,382.34 and Germany’s DAX went up 0.60% to 9,974.87.
Nikkei 225 increased 1.10% to 17,438.46, Shanghai advanced 0.52% to 2,768.68 and Hang Seng slipped 0.11% to 23,978.58.
COMEX gold price ended $13 lower to settle at $1,184.50 an ounce.
