Protests in Yerevan - 42 protesters arrested - PHOTOS
Yerevan Police used physical force to dispel the protesters who marched towards the Sargsyan`s residence, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian Media.
Currently, a great number of police force is deployed in fornt of the residence of the president of the Armenian Republic.

The protesters submitted several claims to President Serzh Sargsyan. The core of their claims is against signing any document that can change the status-quo in the Nagorno-Karabakh, ceding any territory to Azerbaijan and preventing a deployment of peacekeeping forces in the Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding territories.

42 protesters were arrested.



Furthermore, protesters claim to grant 30 000 dollar for the families of the soldiers died in Karabakh and 5000 dollar for the families of wounded.

Moreover, the protesters demand the dismissal of Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
