The Iranian capital of Tehran will host the 10th session of the Information and Communication Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) early December.
The session will discuss means of information-related action, in cooperation with information institutions in OIC Member States and international information institutions, to face-up to the dangers of extremism and Islamophobia, the means of supporting joint Islamic action institutions and information coordination among OIC institutions, in addition to promoting cooperation among information institutions in member states.
The session will also discuss the promotion of the OIC information role in pioneering the issues of cultural exchanges, development and peace and the possibility of establishing a publication unit inside the Information Department at the OIC General Secretariat.
