Moldovan citizens in Baku vote for European integration
Moldovan citizens in Baku voted for European integration, the Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Igor Bodiu told on Dec.1.
He went on to add that most Moldovan citizens residing in Azerbaijan voted for the ruling pro-European alliance in election to the parliament of Moldova.

Some 44 citizens of Moldova voted at the polling station established at the embassy in Baku, he said.

Election to the legislative body of Moldova took place Nov.30 in the country.

A polling station for citizens of Moldova residing in Azerbaijan and willing to take part in parliamentary election was established at the Embassy of Moldova in Baku.

Ballots for the parliamentary election in Moldova included 25 electoral competitors.

Some 19 political parties, 4 independent candidates and 1 electoral bloc that claim to have 101 seats in the parliament participated in the parliamentary election.

Socialist Party keeps its leadership with 21.61 percent of the vote, according to the results of processing of 87.6 percent of protocols, the Central Election Commission said as of 6.40 p.m. (UTC+2:00), RIA Novosti news agency reported.
