Facebook `celeb-bots` will let civilians communicate with famous people
Mark Zuckerberg has claimed public figures will soon use artificially intelligent messengers to communicate with their Facebook followers, prompting speculation that the social network will soon be home to an army of "celeb-bots".
The billionaire wants businesses and prominent people to "interact" with ordinary people using his Messenger app.

Bots would make everything "a lot faster for people who want to interact with businesses and public figures", Zuck said during a call to analysts.

This prompted Business Insider tech expert Jillian D`Onfro to suggest that Facebook would soon be home to a "Beyonce bot".

"Theoretically, celebrities might be able to create special chatbots that can answer such questions," she wrote.

"Maybe you want to ask Beyonce what her favorite movies are at the moment? Or perhaps you want to know a celebrity chef`s favorite restaurant in a certain city."

Of course, we`d ask the Beyonce bot to help us find out who "Becky with the good hair really is" - and why the real life pop empress needs DOZENS of people to help her write an album.

Facebook recently invited tech developers to build bots that use artificial intelligence to engage people in conversation over Messenger.

This means bots could let your order a pizza or buy something online by interacting with a `bot`, rather than by using a website or app.
