After the April fights on the contact line, social protest flamed up in Armenia. The parents who lost their sons and the relatives of dead Armenian soldiers protested against the existing authority, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian Media.
Mothers of dead soldiers called Sargsyan to resign. They hold Sargsyan accountable for their sons` death.
In order to calm down the soldiers` parents, the state leadership, which lost its influence instructed to allocate money from the state budget.
The families of 64 Armenian soldiers annihiliated on the contact line will be provided with the `compensation`, the Armenian Labor and Social Affairs Ministry said.
A joint working group was established to calculate social demands of the dead soldiers` families, the minister Artem Asatryan said.
Even, the Armenian authority pledged to provide dead soldiers` relatives with job.
By allocating money only 64 dead soldiers` families, the Republic of Armenia one more time tried to hide its real losses.
The Army of the Armenian Republic lost 322 soldiers and officers as a result of the military operations carried out in Nagorno-Karabakh on 2-5 April. More than 500 wounded were reported. The fate of 50 is still unknown.
