Azerbaijani, Turkish presidents discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today made a telephone call to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The head of state congratulated Erdogan on the occasion of Turkey’s upcoming presidency of the G20 and regarded it as an indicator of Turkey`s growing international role and influence.

President Aliyev extended his gratitude for inviting Azerbaijan to all upcoming events of the organization, as well as the summit to be held in Antalya in November, 2015, and expressed confidence that all the events would be held at the highest level.

The head of state noted that Azerbaijan’s being invited to the meetings and summit of this organization once again demonstrates how our countries are close to each other.

Erdogan thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart and expressed confidence that Azerbaijan, achieving rapid economic development, would contribute to the work of this organization.

The presidents discussed ways of resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, expressing confident that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey would develop further in all fields.
