Turkish PM Davutoglu not to run for AK Party leadership

Turkey`s ruling party will hold an extraordinary congress in the coming weeks. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is not planning to run for the leadership at the party`s extraordinary meeting, Milliyet newspaper reported.

Turkey`s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) will hold an extraordinary congress, the party announced following a critical meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on Wednesday.
