Azerbaijan, Iran discuss development of cooperation in emergency situations
Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has met a delegation led by Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi who attended the 20th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference "Bakutel-2014".
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov hailed the prevention and elimination of emergency situations in the country and the works done in this field and discussed the prospects for cooperation with the relevant authorities of Iran.

The Minister hailed the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s mutual visits and signed documents as the foundation for a new era in strengthening bilateral relations.

Mahmoud Vaezi expressed satisfaction for sincere meeting and stressed significance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries.

The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
