Azerbaijan, Iran discuss economic cooperation
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev has met Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi, who is in Baku to attend "BakuTel-2014" Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition
The two discussed the current state and prospects of economic cooperation. Shahin Mustafayev noted that political, economic and humanitarian relations between Azerbaijan and Iran were steadily developing. They stressed the importance of reciprocal visits and bilateral meetings in terms of the development of Azerbaijan-Iran ties.

The Iranian Minister said there was great potential for the expansion of cooperation even further.

The parties also discussed how to expand relations between the two countries` businessmen, as well as develop cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, veterinary medicine, energy, alternative energy and transport.
