Passengers can book a one-way ticket to New York in the Residence, a private cabin with a living room, separate bedroom and an ensuite shower room, Fortune reported. The 125-square-foot suite is the only three-room suite on a commercial airline, designed for two people traveling together.
The living room has a luxurious leather double-seat sofa and two dining tables, where passengers can enjoy an intimate meal for two, or watch their 32-inch flat-screen TV using noise-cancelling headsets. A private butler along with a personalized menu and concierge service are all available for Residence passengers. A savoy-trained Etihad butler ensures a tailored experience, looking after passengers from takeoff until landing. The new offer surpasses Etihad`s previous record-setting commercial flight which cost $32,000 and was the most expensive commercial flight.
