Turkey urges OSCE MG to be more active on Karabakh conflict
The Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved within Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity, Turkish Foreign Ministry told on May 17.
"Turkey urges the OSCE Minsk Group (MG) to be more active on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict`s settlement," said the ministry. "Turkey`s position remains unchanged - the conflict must be resolved peacefully."

The first meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan since the beginning of deterioration of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was held in Vienna recently. The OSCE MG co-chairs on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict James Warlick, Igor Popov and Pierre Andrieu participated in the meeting.

Commenting on the statement of the Armenian MP Hrant Bagratyan that Armenia has nuclear weapons, Turkey`s Foreign Ministry said that such statements are not even in the interest of Armenia.

The use of chemical or nuclear weapons is a crime against humanity, said the ministry.

"We are confident that Armenia does not have the possibility to develop nuclear weapons," added the ministry.
