Timur Ivanov appointed Russian Deputy Defense Minister
Former head of military construction company Oboronstroy, Timur Ivanov, has been appointed the Russian deputy defense minister, TASS reports with reference to a source in the ministry.
Ivanov was appointed director general of Oboronstroy in 2013. In 2012, he served as the deputy chairman of the Moscow region’s government. In 2009-2012, he led Russia’s energy agency at the Energy Ministry.
