He said that the United States support the production and transportation of hydrocarbon resources in Azerbaijan: "Five companies represents the U.S. at this year’s exhibition. In addition, a number of companies are collaborating and trying to cooperate in the field of conventional and renewable energy, as well as in increasing energy efficiency. The goal is to fully meet the energy security of both Azerbaijan and Europe, and the whole region.”
Speaking about the Southern Gas Corridor project, the ambassador stressed that it is of great importance: “The project cost is 44 billion dollars. We have supported Azerbaijan at the highest level and are ready to continue providing support to Azerbaijan in the implementation of this project.”
