Azerbaijan capable of increasing annual gas output to 40 bcm

During the last decade, Azerbaijan quadrupled gas out to 29 billion cubic meters, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said at the international Caspian Oil & Gas Conference held in Baku.
“SOCAR’s Azneft PU has carried out development of 49 fields so far. As a result of ecological actions, 281 mln cubic meters of associated gas was produced. We are capable of increasing annual gas output to 40 bcm in the future”, Abdullayev said.
