He said 57 MPs from different countries participated in the voting, and that 47 of them voted for him, while the remaining 10 supported Ukrainian candidate Kiril Tretyak, who had been secretary general till today: “So I will work in this position for 3 years. As the general secretariat is based in Istanbul, I will have to move there to execute my job”.

Azerbaijani MP Asaf Zeynalli has been elected secretary general of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PA) during the 44th BSEC PA session held today in Athens, Asaf Zeynalli himself said to reporters.
