Armenian soldier arrested over suspected murder of serviceman

Armenian soldier A. Khachatryan was arrested in connection with the June 2 death of fellow serviceman Khoren Harutyunyan, Armenia`s Investigative Committee, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian Media.
According to the official statement, Harutyunyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound at the combat position as a result of Khachatryan having violated the rules for safe firearm handling. Under the corresponding article of Armenia`s criminal code, the soldier faces imprisonment for the term of 4 to 8 years if convicted of the alleged crime.
