After the state anthems of both countries were performed, Ali Hasanov, Head of the Department for Public and Political Issues at the Presidential Administration made opening remarks, noting the role of Heydar Aliyev in rapprochement of the Turkish states. He said that the national leader is in the hearts of all the Turkish nations.
Ali Hasanov regarded this exhibition as an indicator of deep respect for the rich heritage of Heydar Aliyev.
TRT General Director Şenol Göka, the Director General of AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov, the representative of the Embassy of Turkey in Azerbaijan Meral Barlas, aide to the director of Yunus Emre Institute Shenol Chobanoglu and the Deputy Director General of Anatolian Agency Abubekir Shahin spoke about the work done by Heydar Aliyev in their speeches. They especially stressed the contribution of Heydar Aliyev to strengthening the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The 3-day exhibition was attended by state and governmental dignitaries, Members of Parliament, the renowned men of science and culture, and the guests from the fraternal country.
