Euro 2016: Spain defeats Turkey
A convincing 3-0 win for Spain over Turkey saw the European champions book a place in the final 16 of the tournament late Friday night.
Two goals in the first half and another on 48 minutes saw Spain add three points to the trio collected against the Czech Republic in their previous game to top Group D.

The Spaniards took the lead in the 34th minute at the Stade de Nice when Juventus’ Alvaro Morata’s header beat keeper Volkan Babacan.

Three minutes later, Spain doubled their advantage as Nolito capitalized on confusion in the Turkish defense.

Morata got a second shortly after the restart when Jordi Alba squared the ball for an easy tap-in for the striker.
