Russia to increase oil transit to China through Kazakhstan
Russia intends to increase the transit of its oil to China through Kazakhstan in 2015, chairman of KazTransOil JSC Kayrgeldy Kabyldin told.
“If this year`s transit is 7 million metric tons, next year it will increase to 10 million metric tons,” he said. “The corresponding decree has already been signed between Russia and Kazakhstan.”

Oil transit from Russia is carried out through the Kazakhstan-China pipeline, the transportation power of which was increased to 20 million metric tons per year.

Kabyldin said that Russia intends to send an additional 5 million metric tons of oil to China through the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline.

The total length of this pipeline is 4740 kilometers, transportation capacity - 15 million metric tons per year.
