Iran to send its trucks to Europe through Azerbaijan, not Turkey due to PKK

Iran to send its trucks to Europe through Azerbaijan, not Turkey due to PKK

Iran is seeking alternative route to Turkey after PKK attacked its trucks in the east of Turkey, AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish media.

Turkey cannot ensure safety of Iran’s trucks.

One of alternative routes will be discussed at the meeting among Iran, Georgia and Bulgaria and this route will pass through Black Sea.

Another alternative route connecting Iran with Europe is Azerbaijan-Belarus-Poland-Germany route. Despite this route is longer than Turkey route, it is safe for truck drivers.
