The event was attended by the Embassy staff, the Azerbaijanis working and studying here, members of Turkish community, public figures.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kuwait Tural Rzayev spoke of the internal and foreign policy founded by the Great Leader and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, the undeniable progress and rising reputation of Azerbaijan on the international arena.
Noting Azerbaijan’s relations with the Islamic and Arab states, including Kuwait, Ambassador Rzayev stressed the role of Heydar Aliyev in establishment and development of these ties, reminded President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Kuwait in 2009.
Then, participants of the event watched a documentary narrating on the lifetime and political activity of Heydar Aliyev, founder and architect of the modern Azerbaijani state, viewed the photo-exhibition, books featuring the life of Great Leader.
Kuwaiti Al-Wasat newspaper has published an article on the life and activity of the Great Leader of Azerbaijan.
