Azerbaijan`s Consulate-General in Kars held a commemorative event marking the 11th anniversary of the death of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Azerbaijani Consul General in Kars Aykhan Suleymanli highlighted national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity to establish and develop the Azerbaijani statehood. He praised the national leader’s role in strengthening the Azerbaijan-Turkey political, economic, cultural relations. The Consul General said that continuation of the political course of the national leader by President Ilham Aliyev is in common interest of both Turkey and Azerbaijan.
