Oil price rises

Oil price rises

The US NYMEX crude price rose $0.60 to $46.93 a barrel.

Brent crude went up $0.65 to close at $47.81 a barrel.

Oil price rose after about 755 Norwegian oil workers declared could go on strike from Saturday if employers and unions fail to agree a new wage deal before a Friday deadline that would limit output from Western Europe`s top producer, trade unions said on Monday.
