Rosneft to export fuel to Iran through Azerbaijan
Rosneft intends to export fuel to Iran from 2017. During this period, Petrocas Energy Group, of which 49% share is owned by Rosneft, will build a logistic terminal over the Southern Caucasus corridor, Petrocas Energy Group president Vano Nakaidze told RBK.
Petrocas Energy Group will export gasoline and diesel to Iran’s Neka and Anzali ports. The export will be carried out through oil terminal of the company in Georgia’s port of Poti.

Nakaidze noted that the terminals capacity makes 3 million tonnes per year. Light oil products are exported to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia through the terminal.

He also added that fuel transportation to Iran will be carried out through Azerbaijani railways: “Fuel transported to Baku’s ports via railway will be exported to Iran via tankers from here”.
